 三轮车

The trisikad is somewhat similar to the tricycle, except that it is a bicycle attached to a sidecar. It can usually carry up to 4 passengers - two in the main seating, one on a front extension, and one riding at the back of the trisikad driver. The word "sikad" is the Cebuano term for the English word "to kick." It refers to the kicking motion when pedaling a bicycle.

Trisikads are found in smaller side-streets and village roads that are not often reached by jeepneys or tricycles. People normally take a trisikad for short distances only. Minimum fare for a trisikad is at 10 pesos.
