Jeepneys
Public Utility Jeeps (PUJs), or jeepneys for short, are the most common form of transportation in Cebu. Passengers sit on two long bench-like seats, facing each other on either side of the jeepney. Space for two more passengers is available on the front seat beside the driver. Smaller jeepneys called multicabs can seat approximately 16 passengers, while the larger ones can accommodate anywhere from 30 to 40 passengers.
Jeepneys fares range from 7 to 8 pesos for every 5 kilometers.
